I believe in every one of my student's potential and intellect. I love
teaching because I get to daily interact and share my life with interesting
students.
I graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Psychology
and a minor in Education. I've always known that I wanted to work with
teenagers, but I wouldn't have guessed my future occupation to be an English
teacher. I absolutely love reading and some of the best books I've read was
as a teen (Bridge to Terebithia by Katherine Paterson, The view from
Saturday by E.L. Konigsburg, and The House on Mango Street by Sandra
Cisneros).
For students to share their lives and learn valuable knowledge that they
can use inside and outside of the school's walls. For students to form a
safe,learning community in the classroom. For students to develop into more
aware and caring individuals who will make a difference in the world.
