GENERAL INFORMATIONSTANDARDS: The Roseville City School District will be adopting the Common Core standards in fall 2014. Until then, the California State standards will be in place. Please refer the Department of Education website for a complete listing of the standards. IN-CLASS WORK:Students will be expected to participate fully during classroom discussions, partner and group work and, to give their absolute best effort without disrupting the learning or teaching environment.HOMEWORK:Homework is not assigned as a routine but, is assigned on an 'as needed' basis. Work that is not completed in class during the alloted time will be completed at home. Also, if it appears that students need additional practice on a specific skill, homework will assigned. Late homework is not accepted as successful learning relies heavily on the level of preparedness of the student. ***Additional assistance and support to master the standards will be provided on block days during the Wildcat Enrichment/Intervention sessions. If further support is needed, students may be asked to meet before or after school or, during lunch. **Students will be held responsible for having ALL supplies at ALL times.
