Assignment policy:
Summative Assignments (Tests, Projects, formal presentations, etc.) are worth 90% of your grade:
Tests: If too many students fail a test, the entire class is welcomed to do a retake.
Other than that, only EL and Special Ed students may retake a test with a modified final grade.
Projects: Every day a project is late, a lower grade is assigned. It is better to turn in a project late, and receive a lower grade, than to receive no grade at all.
Formative Assignments (homework, classwork, group work, etc.) are worth 10% of your grade :
Late work is not accepted, unless absent. If you are absent for two days, you have two days to
make it up, etc.
