How can I contact Mrs. Chilton?

You can email Mrs. Chilton from the homepage on this website.  
Her mail address is achilton@egusd.net. You can also call her
before or after school or bring in a written note. Emails,
notes, and phone calls will usually be returned during the school
week within 24 hours.

When is homework due?

Homework is always due the next day unless otherwise instructed.

What if my child is absent?

If possible, call to arrange and receive the homework that will 
be missed ahead of time. Homework and various classroom
assignements are to be made up within the given grace period.
(one day of absence = one day to make up missed work.)

Do you accept late work?

Any missed classwork due to absence is given a grace period.  
Assignments that are not turned in within the grace period are
considered incomplete, and will receive an F.

When are communication folders due?

Silver communication folders are sent home each Monday and are 
due each Tuesday. Paperwork that needs to be signed / completed
is found on the "bring back" side of the folder. All other work
is to be kept at home and reviewed with your child if necessary.

How do I schedule a conference with Mrs. Chilton?

     You can contact Mrs. Chliton through email at 
achilton@egusd.net, send a note in with your student, or call the
school at 683-3073. Conferences are scheduled one to two days in
advance, depending on both the parents and teacher schedule.
Regular conferences are scheduled for students who receive a
Deficiency Notice during the time progress reports are sent home.
