Dear Parents:
I must apologize for not keeping a current gradebook online for you. The
district provided grade portal is not an easy one to manage, even for a
techno-geek like myself.
I have decided to go back to SnapGrades (now called JupiterGrades.com)
because of the flexibility it allows me in managing the grading process.
Unfortunately, the district will no longer pay for us to use this program. I
am using the free program for teachers, but this will not allow parent
views. I am not able to incur the cost for this extra feature at this time.
As part of last year's agreement, you will have parent access to the
gradebook until Oct. 31, 2012.
I will be sending home a print-out of your student's assignments and grades
tomorrow, 10/04/11. The most important item to look for is assignments that
say "missing." If you would like a printout in the future, please email me,
and I will send it home with your student the next day.
Please feel free to use the email link any time you have a question. I check
email frequently including once or twice in the evening, so I usually respond
promptly.
