The children truly impressed me with their performance in the Christmas
Program. They all did an awesome job! Thank you for working on learning
their lines, they were well prepared.
I am looking forward to a great New Year. We will hit the ground running.
Reading will be the focus for homework for the rest of the year. We will now
expect ten minutes of reading every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Nights
(recorded on the bookmarks, please keep them in their folders). The only
other homework will be the evening you chose to do the Family Math Night,
which is intended to be fun and educational. We try to leave Wednesday
evenings open for Church youth activities.
Please look for the Kindergarten Express Letters that come home every month.
They are intended to be posted on the fridge for your reference during the
month for sharing and special events.
The end of January will mark the half way point for the year...it's hard to
believe.
We have a two for one Community Helper Field Trip Wednesday the 20th; we will
tour Major Market and a Fire Station. Then, fasten your cars seats...Pat and
Oscar's, the Post Office, Seaworld, an Easter Egg Hunt at Mountian View Park,
the Police Station, the Flower Fields and the Strawberry Patch are all coming
soon!
Happy New Year!
