I would like to wish everyone a very special Merry Christmas.  These first four months of school have truely flown by and  I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of your child's life.  This  class is a blessing to me each day with their enthusiastic energy to learn and take on new challenges.  It is also a blessing to see their young hearts tender towards the Lord and the desire to know more about Him.

We had a wonderful week of preparation for Christmas.  It was a blessing to hear them recite Luke 2:10-14 together with such joy.  I hope you will get to hear it as well at home this season.  The other blessing was having them learn one of my favorite Christmas songs "The Best Gift" which they willingly sang to me each day these past two weeks!  There has been alot of joy in our classroom.

So, thank you for all of the cards and gifts and kind words that came my way-----I am so blessed.
Enjoy your two weeks and I will switch into "Grammie" mode as my boys will all be here for Christmas with our 5 young grandkids (3 and under) -------------should be lively! (a classroom of second graders might be a vacation)

I heard a sweet phrase not to long ago,  "Jesus came to us so that we can come to Him"-----a very special and meaningful Christmas to you.
