November News

English:
	A chapter three test is scheduled for November 2nd , Monday.  
Afterwards, we will start a chapter on friendly letters that includes 
learning to address an envelope.

Math:
	Previous lessons will be revisited.  Then we will move on to 
five as divisor, division with remainders, more money concepts, 
multiplication table of sixes, three-digit dividends and story 
problems.  Keep practicing those multiplication facts.  It is evident 
who is practicing!

Social Studies:
	Mrs. Nielsen will instruct them on the history of Squanto and 
William Penn.

Science:
	We will continue our unit on environmental changes and the 
affects they have on animals.

Reading:
	Keep encouraging your child to meet the monthly reading 
goal.  By Open House Night, your child should have read 3,500 pages.  
Ask your child about the Pizza Hut “Book-It” program that runs 
through March.  

Bible:
	Our theme for November is pure speech, as well as giving 
thanks and praise to God.

Classroom Update:
	To all who donated items or helped at the Fall Festival, a 
big thank you.  The kids had a great time because of your support.
