PLP Classrooms

Homework

Generally, PLP homework is work not completed in class. If students use
their class time wisely, there will be very little homework.

However, there are a few exceptions:

 1) Students are expected to do daily reading at home.

 2) Book reports,if given, are to be done at home.

 3) Grade level and necessity will dictate how much classroom help will be
    given.

 4) PLP students in the elementary grades do the book reports assigned in
    their class.

 5) Almost all math students will have some homework every night because
the math practice takes some time to finish.

However, as stated earlier, students who use their classroom time
productively will have a minimal amount.

Please email me for specific homework assignments if you absolutely need
them. Due to the variety of grades, subjects, and assignments, it is
impossible to post all assignments.

If your student is not turning in assignments, I will contact you to work
out a solution.

Here are some general assignments you can always count on.

  - All reading students should have an A.R.
    book to read.

  - 6th grade reading students have a book report due every other month and
a spelling packet and spelling words to study.

  - 7th grade English students have a book report due each month and
spelling words to study and also a Spelling packet.

  - 8th grade Literature students have spelling words to study.

Junior High math students have a calendar of their assignments so they know
in advance what their assignments will be the entire quarter
