Our first creative writing assignment was to imagine that we met a person that was made out of leaves . . a Leaf Man. Here are the stories as they were told to me.

 

 

 

One day I met a Leaf Man.  He went to Chuck E Cheese with me.  And we went to the park and we found leafs.  We jumped in them!  I just saw him that one day.  That’s all.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  I was scared!  Then I asked my mom if I could bring him and she said yes.  Then I talked him to the park and played with him.  We be friends because we liked each other!  Then we went to the safari.  We saw animals--hippos, elephants, alligators and lions.  Then we went to the Wild.  Then we went to the lake.  Then we went to do some rowing at the lake.  Then we were done.  Then we went to Sea World.  Then we watched TV at home.  Then we started to have fun outside.  I was glad the Leaf Man was my friend.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  Then I wanted to keep him in my room and I slept with him.  He likes to draw with me and I play with him and I draw pictures for him a lot.  I draw leaves for him a whole bunch.  He likes when I draw him leaves.  And I go with my mom to the park a lot with him and we always play Hide and Go Seek at the park.  I like to play with him a whole bunch and he likes to play with me.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  He could climb a tree and he can make a bird fly away.  He can drive a car with my dad.  I think he’s funny when he scares spiders away.  I like to play checkers with him.  I usually win and sometimes he wins.  Sometimes we go to the zoo.  We like to see the dinosaurs but it isn’t real.  There aren’t any lions at this zoo but there are ostriches and penguins at the North Pole—I really want to see them when it snows.  We get ice cream and then we go home to play with my toys.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  We went to an ice cream shop and I asked my mom if he could spend the night and she said yes.  The next morning we saw a spider out and it was fine.  Then we decided to play soccer.  We went to the toy store and I got a doll and he got race cars.  Then it was starting to rain and then the rain turned to ice and then it turned to snow.  He climbed back the tree and made a house for us to stay in because the wind was actually too strong and it made our house get broke.  The end.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  He will break because leafs break.  And he will dance.  And he liked to play in leaves and with scarecrows and birds.  I played with him and I spend the night with him and I ate dinner with him.  We had chicken.  Me and him climbed trees.  I treated him nice so he wouldn’t break.

One day I met a Leaf Man and we went to the part together and we went shopping and we went into the pool together and we also went to go buy some new feather necklaces for him.  After that my mom said we could eat lunch together at the park.  Mom said we could have a playdate.  Once I did not know him until I knew him because I met him.  Then we went to get new coloring books.  He wrote a picture of me and I wrote a picture of him.  We’re both excellent writers.  Everyday he went to my house.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  I was running and then I met a Leaf Man.  Then me and the Leaf Man we were friends.  I asked my mom if I could stay with him and then she said “okay!”  And then we were walking when it was sunny.  We went to the park and saw giraffes and then we saw turtles and then we goed home and lived happily ever after.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  I was scared but he told me “don’t be afraid!”  And then we went to go buy a Happy Meal and we got a Bakagon toy.  Then we became friends and we went to the park to have fun.  Then my mom took us to go play soccer.  And we won!  Then yesterday we were in the championships!  We played against the hard kids.  Then on a rainy day we played cards.  We had fun forever.  The end.

One day I met a Leaf Man and he asked his mom if he could play outside.  I thought he was not very kind and he came and said “do you want to play with me now because I’m all done.”  Then I played with him and Leaf Man was kind.  Then I taught him how to climb trees and how to pump on the swings.  Then we went to the pool and we did cannon balls and we splashed each other.  And then actually we had our swim trunks on and we went to the new Lawrence Welk’s and then we went home and got back into our clothes.  We were friends and we came back tomorrow and we played with each other again.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  We went to the store together.  We bought fruits and vegetables.  Then we played at his house.  He lived in a real house.  We did puppets.  I was so happy I got to meet this new friend!

One day I met a Leaf Man and I went to the park with him and then we went to my house and we had a playdate.  We went out into the yard and we played ball.  Then after that we went into the kitchen and had some snacks.  We had crackers and milk.  Then we went in my room and we went in my closet and found some dress-up clothes.  He put on a prince costume.  He looked handsome!  Then it was time to go.  The end.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  We wanted to play.  When we got tired my mom made us mac and cheese.  We went out to play beach ball.  I hope he’ll come back again to play with me.  The end.

One day I met a Leaf Man.  I took him home and he stayed for dinner.  We had beans and cheese and rice.  I took him to the park and we played until it was dark and then we had a sleepover.

One day I met a Leaf Man and we went home to play Star Wars at auntie’s house.  We had fun playing it.  Then she was playing her DS.  We ate at Mc Donald’s together when we were done playing.  Then we lived happily ever after.

One day I met a Leaf Man and he just falled off the sky.  Then he came to my home and sang to me and telled  jokes.  Then we went to the park and played together.  Then he telled me his name—it was Leaf Man.  Then we song lullabies together.    We saw Cats and Dogs and he thinked that he wanted to see a real cat.  Then we saw a fire fighter.  Then we danced and lived happily ever after.

One day I met a Leaf Man and we played outside and we walked to the mall and we been to the park and we ride some bikes and we played tennis and we walked a dog and we saw Lexi and Nathan and Miss Tricia and Mrs. Pombert! I was excited and the Leaf Man came to my house and we made some BBQ and he drink some coffee and he drink beer. And that’s all I am going to tell you.

One day I met a Leaf Man. He was on a tree. He came down and sang a song to me. He came to my house and we had a picnic. We rided in the sun on the day in the road. We played together and we sang together under the sun. We saw more animals because there was bears, giraffes, ponies and horses. We saw a leaf just like the Leaf Man. We saw walruses and we saw seals and we saw dogs. Then we saw lots of other animals. We went home together with all the animals, even the Leaf Man, and we ate together like a picnic. Then we lived happily ever after.

One day I met a Leaf Man and we colored in our coloring books and put stickers in our coloring books and played it the park together. He was singing and he was walking and he was jump roping with me. He was planting flowers with me. It was his birthday so we put goody bags out and I made him a chocolate and vanilla cake! He put balloons up and we had a birthday party. His family came and they bringed balls. Then they went home.

When the Leaf Man comes to my house we’re going to go to the kitchen and eat.  My mom is going to make macaroni and soup.  Then we’ll go to my room and watch movies – Bionicle, Peter Pan, and Kung Fu Panda.  Then we’ll play Kung Fu Panda game.  Then we’ll stay up late, watch cartoons, and play.  We’ll stay up all night and not sleep until the next morning.
