He plays piano/keyboard, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, drums, and guitar.
Mr. F teaches all brass, percussion and woodwind instruments privately,
outside of class time.
His persoanl goal is to teach the origin of music and lead to the Original
Creator of music--God Himself.
The study of music has been show to enhance the following character traits:
1. Focus--attention to detail in reading music.
2. Creativity--there are endless variations to create something new in
music.
3. Obedience--you must follow the rules of music in order for it to sound
good!
4. Consistency--it takes special skills to sing or play the right note at
the right time.
5. Patience--it takes time to learn new skills in music.
There are many published studies showing that learning music creates stronger
brain connections that help students in other subjects, such as math.
