Assigned Reading Homework:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays using the reader book. Please remember to ask
comprehensive questions to stimulate interpretation.
"Outside reading":
Outside reading should be done 3 to 4 times a week minimum. All pages should
be logged into the Monthly Reading Goal Logs. The goal is for every first
grader to reach 2000 pages or more by the end of the school year.
Math Flashcards:
Math flashcards or math practice should be done 3 to 4 times a week minimum.
Bible Verse Memorization/Oration:
A Bible Scripture is assigned weekly. Students may practice and learn them at
home.
