Dear parents and students,
OK everybody it's time to come back to school!!! We've been off for six weeks!!! I hope you had a great Christmas, New Years, and January. Did you complete your break homework?
We come back this Monday, February 6th. There'll be great stories and books to read. We will read about Harlem and Times Square in New York. We will learn about Ants and Earthquakes. We'll also learn about the Wright Bros. and the first plane flight.
In math, we're moving on to decimals, negative numbers, perimeter, area, and algebra. In social studies we will be learning about the Chumash Indians.
This time on track we will have the Fourth Grade Writing Test, and get our second report card. I also signed us up for a Jazz Concert on Feb. 22nd. It all starts on Monday, so don't miss the first day.
