Weekly News Letter

Dear Parents,                                                                                                                                    November 21

I am receiving more and more pictures for my "Star Students" bulletin Board.  Please keep sending me a small size picture of your child.  They will not be returned.  Thank you so much.

We have been working very hard to learn the songs for our Christmas Concert.  There are eleven of them and I am hoping the students have them memorized in the next several weeks.  Children have volunteered in Fifth and Fourth grade to sing in groups on several of the songs.  This helps with the amount of memorizing the students have and gives the students a chance to perform on the mics.  Every Fifth and Fourth grader who volunteered was chosen to sing on certain selected verses. Kindergarten will be dressed in costumes from the time of Jesus to represent the nativity scene for our concert.  I will provide the costumes and they will change into them during the singing.  All students will be asked to wear red, black, green and/or white for the concert.  Festive holiday clothing will be perfect.  No jeans or shorts.  This is a special evening for our students so we want to honor that by dressing up.

We also have the priveledge of leading the 5:00 service on Christmas Eve.  I sent home a sign-up letter and hope that many of you can join me.  Please send the tear-off in as soon as possible.  Thank you.
