Dates to remember:  

November 3rd Half Day
                  4th Free Dress/ 8th grade Peer Summit Field trip-7th grade Field trip to Henna's graduation
                  11th Veterans Day no school
                  18th End of the First Tri-mester
                  21-25 Thanksgiving Break
                  TBA Canned Food Drive, Last year the Middle School collected 270 pounds of cans, This year the goal is for above 300!

                                                                                                   
6th Grade:  The class is beginning their study of the geography of Ancient Egypt. After the students understand the environments of Egypt and it's periods they will be given a research project. TBA later.

7th Grade: The students are learning about the great Byzantine Empire, it's rulers, and how Eastern Orthodox came into being.

Science: Now that the students understand plant cells they will learn more about how plants survive, reproduce, and how important they are to mankind.

8th Grade: . The class is learning how the Declaration of Independence was created and what it means. The students have also been given a President to research, write an essay, and make a presentation. The Due date is November 14th and presentations will begin on that day.
