What does my student need daily?

To receive full daily credit all students must have: 
all notebooks/workbooks
pencils/pens
P.E. clothes

How is homework assigned and graded?

Homework is assigned daily, and is due the following day. Some 
assignment due dates may vary. Students are expected to write all 
homework assignments in their planners. All homework is written 
on the board and posted on the website daily.

All homework assignments are graded and worth 10% of the overall 
grade.

Late assignments, not due to absence, must be completed during 
the school day and are down graded one grade.

What is my student responsible for when absent?

When a student has missed more than one day of school he or she 
is required to stay for "Study Hall" until all work is made up. 
Students have one day to complete assignments; for each day they 
have missed in order to receive full credit.

Why would my student receive "Detention" and what are the consequences?

*Disrespectful behavior toward other students and teachers.

*Inappropriate language to other students or teachers.

*Physical harm towards others.

*Harassment or bullying.

Consequences:

Written essays
Removal from class
Research reports on the offence
