Native Americans Poster
1.
Select
one tribe of Native Americans who lived in your state.
2.
Research
to locate information about your tribe in 4 of the following topic areas:
Food
Clothing
Shelter
Political Structure
Religion
Arts and Crafts
Warfare
Stories & Legends
Other:__________
3.
Divide
a large piece of construction paper or poster board into 4 sections. Label each section with a topic you selected.
Draw or download pictures to represent the information and attach them into the
sections of your poster.
4.
Write
a paragraph (in your best printing or cursive) for each topic on the pages
provided.

due date: Tuesday, September 27th
State Shape Poster
1.
On the paper provided, design a poster showing a
scene about your state. You must include
the shape of your state into an object in your picture.
2.
Example: the shape of
California made into a car travelling down a sunny highway.
3.
Complete the report pages:
a.
Location of state – color state and label
neighboring states/bodies of water
b.
State word search puzzle
c.
State map activity worksheet
d.
Write at least one paragraph describing the
location of the state.
Example:
The state of California is
located in the western part of the United States. It borders on the Pacific Ocean. It is also bordered to the north by Oregon,
to the east by Nevada, and to the south by the country of Mexico. California covers a
larger area than any other state except Alaska and Texas.
