Mrs. Harris:
My family and I have been members at Grace Lutheran Church for over ten years.
My husband, Chris, and I have been married for almost 19 years, and have
lived in San Marcos since 1998. We have a 16 year old son, Clayton, who is a
graduate of Grace. Abby, our daughter, is in 6th grade at Grace. We love
going on family vacations, watching movies, and reading a good book.
Disneyland is a favorite pastime, too! When we are not cheering for our son
at his high school sporting events, we are watching our daughter, Abby, on the
soccer field.
It is an honor to be entrusted with the task of teaching your children about
math, reading, writing, and above all else, the love of our Lord. My prayer is
that we can work side-by-side to make this year one of academic and spiritual
growth for your student.
In His Service, Mrs. Harris
Mrs. Kathy LaGrua
I have been teaching at Grace Lutheran for nine years. I am thrilled to have
the distinct privilege of teaching in this caring and loving community of
educators and students redeemed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am
dedicated to the profession of teaching and am committed to the needs,
interests, and goals of my students and their families. I am fully aware of
the far reaching effect my words and actions have on others, and strive to
always use my words and actions to inspire, encourage, and build up.
I am married to Joe and have three children, and a grandson Isaac. My oldest
son John is a graphic designer, my daughter Jackie is a graduate of both
Grace and Cal State San Marcos. She has a B.A. in Communications. My
youngest son Joey graduated from Grace last year and is a freshman at Calvin
Christian. My interests are spending time with family and friends, reading,
watching classic movies, working out, and watching sports, especially my son
Joey's basketball games!

Kathy LaGrua
