Student Council is sponsoring our last “Spirit Day” of the year.  Your child can dress aloha-style for “Hawaiian Day” this Friday, June 1st.

Field Day is on June 13th.  This is a fun couple of hours of planned games and activities for the entire school.  Each kindergarten student will be placed in a group with other students k-5 grade.  We need two parent volunteers to help out with Field Day.  You'll be asked to work from 8:45-10:30 on that Wednesday.  It sounds like a lot of time but you'll be having so much fun, time will just fly by! 
    

Next week, either June 5th or 6th, you are all cordially invited to a class performance.  The children will be singing some of their favorite songs from this school year.  I'm not sure of the exact time or date but I'm thinking of doing it first thing in the morning. Stay tuned!


We'll be having a group end-of-the-year party with the other K classes.  The party is scheduled for the last day of school from 8:45-11:00.   We will need a few volunteers for the party and we'll also need some party items and food.  I'll (or Drew's mom) will get more details out to you soon.  Parents are asked not to come to the party unless they are helping out.
After the party, there will be a little promotion ceremony (again, no big deal!) in our classroom.  Everyone is invited to come to this event.


Thank you so much to all of you for helping make our year so successful.  Many, many of you volunteered in the classroom and/or on field trips and I sincerely appreciate your time.  Thank you, as well, to those who generously sent in supplies when our stock ran low.  I am also very aware and appreciative of the help, encouragement, and support you provided your kindergartener at home throughout the year!
