About Your Teacher

     This is my 11th year at Hart Ransom School. I have taught Kindergarten, 
First, Second, Third, and Fourth Grade.

     I grew up in Southern California, and moved to Turlock to go to college.
Before I was a teacher, I worked in a bank, at a restaurant, in a pharmacy,
and as a pizza delivery driver. My parents live in Northern Oregon, and my
brother lives in Anaheim (he can see Disneyland's fireworks from his house!).

     I want each student to grow emotionally, socially, and academically. I feel
that the educational process is like a triangular team, with the three sides
being the student, the teacher, and the family. I also believe that teaching
students to be independent and responsible for their actions and choices is
something that will serve them well for the rest of their lives.
