Mrs. Sparkman holds an MA in Linguistics and a single-subject credential for English, with a CLAD
emphasis. She has attended and lead many workshops on writing, reading, and technological
advances in education. As a native to Fremont, Mrs. Sparkman takes great pride in helping the
community.
Mrs. Sparkman is the 7th grade homeroom teacher, who teaches various courses for both 7th and
8th grade.

Whenever in doubt, I like to reflect on my favorite part of Mass for clarity:

Our classroom is a place for, but not limited to: learning, sharing ideas, safely expressing one's self,
tolerance for differing opinions, inspiration, thoughtful words, collaboration, cooperation, but most
of all, love and respect for God, self, and one another.
Knowledge is Power! Be sure to empower yourself, daily! Your education can never be taken away.
Respect it, nourish it, share it!
There are many things I set out to teach students, here are some words I hope they learn to live by:
Happiness keeps you sweet.
Trials keep you strong.
Sorrows keep you human.
Failures keep you humble.
Success keeps you glowing.
But only God keeps you going!
