Message from the Principal
My name is Carrie Haskin and I am the new principal of Hope View Elementary School. It is a great pleasure to be joining the Hope view team and I am personally looking forward to getting to meet each and every one of you. Collaboration is a key element in the success of a school site, and, I am eager to begin to build partnerships.
For the past 14 years, I have worked at both the elementary and middle school levels in a neighboring school district. As a support teacher and CGI coach for Orange County Dept. of Ed, I was able to utilize my strong passion for teaching and learning to influence success for all students. As a site administrator, I was able to use my skills to influence positive outcomes for the entire campus.
My goal at Hope View is to support the strong and effective practices that are already in place, and to challenge our team to continually raise the bar for student achievement. As your new principal, I am committed to working closely with parents, staff and students in partnership to maintain, support, and enhance the successful academic programs that are unique to Hope View. I am looking forward to becoming a member of the learning community.
You will always find my door open and I invite you to drop by any time. I look forward to learning about the unique strengths, traditions and practices here at Hope View. Together we can make a difference while riding “The New Wave” as we map out the vision we will take to continue along the pathway to student success.
