should expect approximately 20-30 minutes of homework Mondays-
Thursdays. Review your VOCABULARY/Language of the Discipline(use your
flashcards to help) if you don't have other homework
for History.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16th: Work on Common Sense reading notes (read ch. 6.4 &
take notes) as well as Common Sense cover page/descriptions (due Wed. 11/18);
Languageof the Discipline ch. 6 & 7 (vocabulary) is due by Tue. 11/17
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17th: Finish Common Sense cover page/descriptions (due
Wed. 11/18);read through your Study Guide at least 3 times tonight (review
for the Revolutionary War test which will be on Tue. 11/24/09)
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18th: Read "People in the American Revolution" and
answer questions tonight (due Thur. 11/19); study your Vocabulary/Language of
the Discipline (ch. 6 & 7) andread through your Study Guide again tonight (we
have our test on Tue. 11/24/09)
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19th: Finish "Review Questions-- Revolutionary
War" (due Fri. 11/20); make sure your Ch. 5-7 Packet is neat, complete, &
stapled together (see "History Packet Order" on this website)
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd: Study for the Revolutionary War Test (60 pts.)-- review
the Study Guide (ch. 5-7) and vocab.
* If you've been absent, be sure you are reading chapters 6 & 7 from
History Alive to get more info. (since you've missed class discussions).
* Your Ch. 5-7 Revolutionary War Packet is due on Tuesday, Nov. 24th; we
will have a test on the American Revolution (chapters 5, 6, & 7) on Tuesday, Nov. 24th.
* Check your grades-- click on "GRADES", type in your last name and
under "Password" type in your Student ID#

work on your propaganda sign & "Background Information Stations" for the
Debate
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10th: Finish any incomplete "Background Information
Stations" (4 stations total, including the propaganda sign) tonight; this
packet of Background Info. is due on Thur. 11/12/09. (Our Town Meeting Debate
willbe on Friday, 11/13/09.)
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th: Read & enjoy the day!
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12th: Finish your Colonial "Talking Points" (arguments)
for the Colonial Town Meeting Debate which will be Friday, Nov. 13th. (You'll
be arguing as a colonist in May 1775 about whether the colonies should get
freedom & independence from Britain.)
