Students are responsible for logging homework in their planner during class.
Weekly homework consists of a spelling worksheet that is given on Monday and
is due Friday, which is also the day of the test. Students also have nightly
independent reading and are required to get ten Accelerated Reader points
this grading period. In order to get their full homework points, students
must complete reading logs and take a computer generated test with a grade
of 70% or higher. It is the students responsibility to let me know when they
need to test. All in class assignments that are incomplete can be taken home
for homework and can be brought back the next day for full redit. Ample
class time is given to students to complete all in class assignments.
