Mr. H has been teaching middle school math for four years. He received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from Penn State (go
Nittany Lions!), a Masters of Business Administration from the University of
Colorado (go Buffaloes!), and his teaching credential from National
University (go ??).
He drives every day from Elk Grove (yuk!), fosters Labrador Retrievers for
CCLRR (see links), rides his bike like a banshee, and loves working almost
all types of puzzles (yeah, he's a bit of a dork). Recently, he bought a
Honda ST-1300 - check out the pics under 'course documents'. Be safe, and
please tell your parents to watch out for motorcycles.
He is acquiring way too many animals. He has a 5 pound Maltese (Pearl), an
85 pound Yellow Lab (Toby), a Sonoran Black King Snake (Newton), a Leopard-
Tailed Gecko (Goliath...she needs a new name), and hosts a Bearded Dragon
(Bella). Look for Newton, Goliath, and Bella to visit school soon.
Update: We have 7 tanks at the house now.....3 snakes, 3 geckos, and the
bearded dragon.
Update update: We bought 3 more reptiles at the Sacramento Reptile Show; we
got a skink, a Chinese water dragon, and a Brazilian rainbow boa. So, I
think that's 10 reptiles, 3 dogs......
Update X 3: I got the fiancee a Columbian red-tail Boa Constrictor for
Christmas. Since the snake is a 'she', she should grow up to be about 12
feet long. Yikes! What was I thinking??? We now have 16 animals.
All students actively learning in a safe, comfortable, lighthearted but
academic environment.
