Week of March 2nd!
Announcements
- Spring Conference sign ups are going home on Tuesday! Please turn back in by Friday.
- Our History of Livermore Walking Field Trip will be on Tuesday, March 24th. We will leave LVCS at 8:45am, tour starts at 9, and we will have lunch together in a nice grassy area and come back to school by 1pm. It is FREE for everyone and it is probably one of the most interesting field trips! Permission slips will go home soon.
- Timed Multiplication Tests have started! In order to show automaticity, the students will need to complete 100 problems in 3 minutes. They will take tests on Mondays and Fridays. If they pass on Monday, they will move onto the next test on Friday. We will be doing the tables in the following order: 0 & 1, 2, 5, 10, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9.

Writer's Workshop
- We will continue learning the 5 steps in the writing process - prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing. We will be doing some letter writing as well as working on new paragraphs.
- We also have "secret pals" in other 3rd grade classes that we are writing letters to to practice letter writing.
