My name is Joanne Cleveland. I started out here in Loma Linda
many years ago with my husband, Scott. I graduated with a degree in
Respiratory Therapy at LLU. Since then we have had three boys, Matthew,
Mark and Timothy, lived in Northern, Central, and now again Southern
California. I decided to make a change in careers since I love children. I
graduated from Fresno State with my degree in Liberal Studies. I also have
my California State Professional Clear Teaching Credential and SDA Teaching
Credential. I finished up my Master's Degree in Jan 2009.
I consider it a privilege and a big responsibility to work with your
children. I want to assure you I will always have your child's best
interest in mind when dealing with them. I am excited to work at Loma Linda
Academy where commitment to education and Christianity is foremost in our
planning and our curriculum.
I have taught a 5th and 6th grade combination class for 5 years at Armona
Union Academy before coming to LLA. This is my fifth year teaching at LLA
and I love it! I am looking forward to meeting your child because fifth
graders are very sweet, trusting, and I enjoy their energy. My goal is to
love them unconditionally so they can see Jesus, and also to challenge them
scholastically.
To lead students to the feet of Jesus, service for others, and to love our
neighbor as much as we love ourselves.
