Welcome To Kindergarten

Welcome to Room7 Kindergarten at Longley Way Elementary. There are two Kindergarten classes here at Longley Way. We follow basically the same schedules and routines with slight variations. Our days are busy with fun and exciting educational activities that follow the district's curricular standards. I believe that in order for a child to learn, lessons and activities need to be engaging, challenging, and fun. As such, I teach with enthusiasm, dedication and compassion. I also believe that in order for a child to be successful in school, there needs to be an ongoing partnership with teacher and parents. We need to work together to promote the development of a well-rounded child who is enthusiastic about learning, and will succeed in developing into a life-long learner.

Reminders:
  • Have your child bring a full-sized backpack to school every day.
  • Check your child's backpack for important papers and completed school work.
  • Library books go home on Friday and need to be returned by the following Friday.
