Kinder Prep is a small class catering for children who for a variety of
reasons may not yet be ready for Kindergarten, or, for those who are not yet
eligible due to their date of birth, or, those whose parents feel would
benefit form extra time in the foundation stages. Through a thematic
approach the children will explore all curriculum areas,reading, writing,
speaking and listening, math, Bible, science, geography and history. They
will develop their phonic knowledge through the use of Zoo Phonics and will
benefit from specialist teaching for P.E, Computers, Art and Music. There
will be much emphasis on the social and emotional development of each and
every child in the class to equip them for success in Kindergarten next year.
