Behavior/Effort Rubric
Excellent:
Attitude:Always positive, cooperates willingly,very respectful to teachers
and students, stays focused.
Behavior: good self control, actively listens, follows directions, actively
participates in discussions.
Effort:stays on task, completes work on time, strives to perform and complete
work in an
exceptional manner.
Satisfactory:
Attitude: Usually positive, cooperates,respectful to teachers and students,
usually focused.
Behavior: Usually exhibits self control, follows directions occasionally,
participates in discussion.
Effort: Steady progress, completes work on time, usually on task.
Needs Improvement:
Attitude: Rarely positive, cooperates occasionally, difficulty focusing.
Behavior: Seldom exhibits self controls, rarely follows directions, rarely
participates in discussions.
Effort: Incomplete or late work, little progress due to little effort,
difficulty staying on task.

Middle School Grading Policy
Grading Policy: pass/fail grades-
A progress report is given to students with less than 70%, a “C” in the
middle of the quarter.
Computer Study Hall: Students enrolled in this class can still earn a passing
grade even if they have not passed the typing goal during that quarter.
Students’ grade will be separated into a Effort grade and a Computer
grade.
