Dear Parents,
Now is the time to register for Sacramento if you have not done so already. We have a large group of participants going on the Sacramento trip. Because of this, we may need to order a second bus. So, we need everyone who is planning on going on the trip (parents and students) to sign up as soon as possible because our representative needs to get a final head count. Because we are such a large group, besides a second bus, plane tickets need to be reserved as well as space at the camp. If you are not planning on going and you are signed up, the same applies. Please cancel as soon as possible so that we don’t order a second bus when we don’t need one. Thanks for your help. It will be a great trip!
Valentine’s Day is coming up. We will celebrate on Tuesday the 14thafter recess by having some cupcake treats and exchanging Valentines. If your student would like to participate in the exchange, please have them bring in enough Valentines for everyone to have one so that there are no hurt feelings. We have 31 students total, so please plan ahead to get Valentines for everyone if your student would like to do the exchange. Should be a fun celebration!
Next week is Random Acts of Kindness Week. Each day next week, the students of MATES will focus on one kind act to carry out at school or at home. You can encourage kindness at home as well as at school!
Finally, thank you so much to the Secret Parent who gave me the yummy Bundt cake last week. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for thinking of me! Hope to see you all at Bingo night on Friday!
