Mrs. Shaffer and Mrs. Shen have been good friends for years and are thrilled
to be teaching together. Mrs. Shen taught at Meadows for nine years. Mrs.
Shaffer taught at Meadows for six years before taking time off to be at home
with her children, her son Spencer and daughter Jillian. Mrs. Shen has two
daughters, Avery and Kori. Both teachers are so excited to be a part of the
M.A.T.E.S. family and are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning.

create a classroom environment where all students feel safe and motivated to
