My child is struggling with the nighttime reading

Please read to your child as well.  If you child has a book that 
they enjoy reading, let them read it each night to gain fluency 
and confidence.  If your child is reading, please make sure that 
they are reading books with you that are at their independent 
reading level (read the text easily with few errors).

My child is having difficulty with homework

Homework should take about 20 minutes a day.  If your child is 
struggling, stop and write/email me a note letting me know what 
is challenging and I will address it with your child the next 
school day.
