Reading- Story elements including Author’s viewpoint, main idea and details.
Writing- Letter writing
Math- begin memorizing subtraction facts, identifying a.m. and p.m., noon midnight, dozen and a half dozen, adding 3 two digit numbers, adding two digit numbers with a sum greater than 100, reading a thermometer to the nearest two degrees Fahrenheit, identifying, and creating overlapping geometric shapes, mental math, line segments to the nearest ½ inch, ordering 3 digit numbers, identifying gallon, half gallon, quart, and liters, place value, identifying medium, and telling time to 5 minute intervals.
Phonics-Vowel diphthongs

Remember to pack a snack for your child. This helps them refuel at recess so they can be ready to learn.
Tuesdays continue to be pizza sales and Thursdays are chicken nuggets. If you would like your child to buy lunch on these days, make sure to pay the office or send your child to school with the money the morning of.
