What happens if I don't do my homework?

You have one 'day of grace' to do the assignment and turn it in for full
credit. You will have to sit out recess, and you go on my 'no doughnuts'
list for the month. If you do not turn it in the day following your day of
grace, then the grade you will get on the assignment is a zero, and you will
need to call home to let your parents know you didn't do your homework.

Can I turn in state projects late?

No, you may not. You will get a month to do each project, which is plenty
of time to finish it.

What if I have a question about my math or science grade?

You will need to go ask Mrs. Glassford about your math grade, and Mrs.
Grubbs about your science grade.

What if I'm sick, then how do I make up my work?

Make sure to have your parents ask for homework when they call you in sick.
We will send it all up to the office for your parents to pick up by the end
of the day.
You will have the same number of days you were absent to make up your work.
For example, if you were out sick for three days, then you have three days
to make up that missing work (remember though, you will still have to keep
up with the same homework that's being assinged when you come back in
addition to doing the make-up work).

What about field trips?

As a 5th grade, we tend to do most of our field trips during the spring and
end of the school year. We will be going on an overnight field
trip, as well as bowling, and swimming. When we have the dates of these
trips, we'll let you know ASAP.

What if my parents want to come with me on a field trip?

Then your parents will need to be cleared through the office. Please make
sure they are cleared right away, so that way they don't have to wonder if
they're cleared when an actual field tirp comes up.

Who is our Buddy Class?

Our Buddy Class is Mrs. Jannson's 1st grade class. We meet every other
week. We do gardening, reading, and crafts together. We will also have
some parties together during the year.
