SOCIAL STUDIES:
     1. Section Review Questions.
     2. Extra project.
     3. Geography skill lessons in textbook.
     4. Internet activities from textbook site.
     5. Eating at a restaurant serving ethnic food from the culture we are 
        studying.
     6. Going beyond the scope of a given assignment.

LITERATURE and LANGUAGE:
     1. Document-Based Question in the Social Studies
        text.
     2. Extra I-Search.
     3. Extra Book Report.
     4. Writing a letter in correct format.  Placed in an unsealed, 
addressed,
        and stamped envelope.
     5. Short summary of a trade book.
  

It is always better to have extra credit work preapproved by the teacher.
