Tuesday, December 1- 3:00 to 6:00 for eighth graders
Thursday, December 3- 3:00 to 5:30 for seventh graders
Friday, December 4- 3:00 to 5:00 for sixth graders and make-ups
CALLBACKS: Monday, December 7 3:00 to 6:00
If you are not called back, it does not mean you are not being cast. We call back
those for whom we need more information and to figure out questions we have.
Results are mailed on December 18th. Everyone who auditions gets a letter.
TALENT SHOW EMCEE AUDITIONS:
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 - 3:00 to 5:45 in choral room
TALENT SHOW ACT AUDITIONS:
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 for 7th and 8th graders 3:00 to 5:00
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 for 6th graders and make ups 3:00 to 5:00
EMCEES:
(open to eighth graders with 2 point average and good behavior record)
You may tryout alone or with a small group.
Come prepared with an original skit that could introduce an act. For example,
you might pretend to introduce a singer, band, dancers or an acrobat.
Be sure that your skit shows each person's skills and each group member speaks.
Project your voice loudly.
Show energy and enthusiasm.
Be creative.
This is an individual audition even if you are with a group, so be sure we have a chance
to hear you speak.
EMCEE REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in room 39.
This is when we create and write the skits.
FINAL SCHEDULE for emcees:
Sunday November 15 : 2:00 to 6:00 in the gym for emcees only
Monday, November16 - 3:00 to 6:00 TECH REHEARSAL for everyone in the show
Tuesday, November 17- 3:00 to 6:00 DRESS REHEARSAL for all
Wednesday, November 18 - two morning assembly shows for the school
Thursday, November19 - 7:30 evening show
Friday, November 20 - 8:00 evening show
