READ DAILY at home for 1/2 hour in your personal choice "yummy" book.
Session One: Finish your bullet style brainstorm for your literacy timeline with
memories of reading, writing and speaking in 7th and 6th grades.
Use your spiral notebook for this.
Session Two: Finish your bullet style brainstorm for 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and first grades.
Session Three: Create 9 graphics for your literacy timeline.

Wecome to eighth grade!
1. Bring your personal "yummy" book to class daily.
2. Bring your emergency card.
3. Write the letter to me (due first session next week).
4. Assemble your supplies:
personal reading book (yummy book)
spiral notebook dedicated to English only notes
pencils
paper
stickies
glue stick/scissors
markers/ colored pencils
1" binder with three dividers (optional)
4" x 6" notecards (helpful for vocabulary)
