What's the best way to contact Mr. T.?
Email! His address is: jthomas@mvschools.org
You can also call his voicemail: 389-7711 x 2734
What if I can't hand in my homework on time, like, if I'm too stressed out?
Tell Mr. Thomas! Give him the reason and schedule an extension. IT IS YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT MR. THOMAS!
If you get really stressed, see your counselor and you can either talk to Mr.
Thomas or email him -
jthomas@mvschool.org
What if I don't understand an assignment?
Check with your Study Buddy first. If you still don't understand what's what
or if they aren't available, then contact Mr. T. You can just ask him when you
can talk or stop by during his office hours (Lunches, after school, recess are
usually good times). You can email him at jthomas@mvschools.org
He's usually on the computer each night and you might get an answer the same day.
You can also leave a voice mail at 389-7711 x 2734, but try emailing first.
What if I don't like the group I have to work in?
Well, one of the things you'll be learning this year is how to get along with
others who you may not particularly like. Think of your situation as an
opportunity to learn something about yourself. Also, talk with Mr. Thomas
about it - you'll feel better letting him know how you feel.
When can I use a homework pass?
You can use a homework pass for regular assignments, but NOT for special
projects. Remember, if you use a homework pass, YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR
ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU MISS USING THE PASS.
What if I think someone is cheating or not working in the group I'm in?
Tell Mr. Thomas as soon as you can. You can do it at recess or lunch or after
school.
You can also tell the adult you live with or your counselor.
Sometimes it helps to bring a friend along too.
This is not "tattling"!
