  • Absolutely legible. I will not be "interpreting" anyone's writing!
  • Other than the first week of the warmups, the words should be written as one complete sentence or an integrated paragraph; not as separate, unrelated sentences!
  • The daily words/phrases, of course, should be used correctly.

improve the ones from the previous Notebook Check. I gave you -
those of you who have not attempted improvements - amnesty;
but this amnesty doesn't last all year!! At some point, it's going to

Shares (under my name, your class color, Comic Life folder).
Notebooks turned in late will be penalized one full grade.

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 21

There is no "assigned" homework this week. (Can you believe it?!)
What would be, however, a good idea, is to catch up on any un-
finished homework or classwork assignments:
  • Have you completed the Columbian Exchange Response?
  • Have you completed the To Serve Man response?
  • Have you completed ALL of the homework assignments?
  • Is your TOC up to date? Annotations complete?
  • Maps complete?
  • Jamestown Diary entry complete?
  • Generally, all assignments from #1 until #20.

We will be reviewing the five History Reviews you did for homework
in preparation for a TEST on that material. Your NOTEBOOKS will be
collected next week (week of September 28), and we will go over the
grading rubric for the notebooks next week as well: BE PREPARED!!
