Supply List

I would like students to bring the following supplies each day to math class

A three ring binder with a three sections devoted to math.
This can be either in a large binder with sections for other subjects, or in a smaller binder
for just math class. The three sections for math should be: 1) Homework, 2) Class Notes,
and, 3) Old Work/Tests.

Notebook paper.
We have some available in class but it will run out in several months.

Graph paper.
Once again, we have some in class but it will run out in several months.

Pencils.
Either several regular pencils with erasers or a mechanical pencil with extra lead. I have
several pencil sharpeners in class. All homework must be done in pencil. I will not
provide them.

Marker or Pen.
The students need a marker or pen with which to correct their homework and warm up.

Scientific Calculator.
Students need a calculator for class and homework. It needs to be scientific so that it will
do the order of operations correctly. It should have an exponent key and a square root
key. Do not get a Hewitt Packard (HP) calculator because it will need data entered in a
different order than the kids are used to.

Silent Reading Book.
A silent reading book is necessary on test days. If a student finishes a test early they
cannot do homework at their desk. If they have not brought a silent reading book then
they must read a toolkit.
