I love this site, especially as a resource for those who are visually and manipulative oriented. It can
be a little glitchy and/or slow, and it's sometimes less than intuitive, but the help directions are
good. The best topics for now are: Circle 0, Diffy, Factor Tree, the Fractions games (except for
Fractions Pieces), Grapher, Turtle Geometry, Converting Units, Loan Payment, and Savings Calculator.
For review, you can also navigate to a similar page geared towards grades 3-5.

Drill work for all operations with Easy to Advanced levels. The multiplication and division sections go
up through 12's, and the advanced includes some through 14's. A good alternative to flash cards and
checking your math facts.

This site gives information about and practice of basic skills and concepts. It does both of those
things, although not perfectly. The explanations are very dry and almost too sparse. Still, the
practice area gives immediate feedback and it’s easily navigated. This site is not a “must do” sort of
destination. For the most part it seems like a good place to do a little reinforcing or practice work.
Its strength is that there are problems to try and you get immediate feedback with correct or
incorrect notices and right answers if you got it wrong.

This is written in a loose, catchy style. It does a pretty good job of explaining concepts, and it also
provides practice problems. Beware the ads: they can be distracting. Still, this can be a useful site for
those who need concepts (polynomials, fractions, exponents, etc.) restated in a fresh way.

This site is great for a quick reference of math terms used at the middle school level. It is very clearly
written and has both definitions and examples. A great tool for teachers, students, and parents.

This is the place for homework specific questions. You'll get step-by-step help. Use this as a backup
and check, and make sure you don't just copy and move on. You have to understand what's going on.

HW 75 LONG DIVISION LINK #1 of 3. You need to visit three sites and write me a brief review of each
one. See the DOCS page for a mock sample review. This site explains in a step by step fashion how to
do
long division, and also explains how to add decimal 0s to the dividend.
