What is Ms. Anderson's latework policy?

All unexcused late work will be marked down an entire grade during the first and second 
trimesters. During the third trimester, late work will be marked down two entire grades. Please 
also remember that often times 
we will be using your homework in class, so not doing homework will mean you are not 
prepared for class; please avoid this. In the case of an emergency, please have your parent or 
guardian write a note explaining why you were unable to complete your homework and when you 
will be able to turn it in.

Will we have homework on the weekends?

Yes, often times you will receive a homework assignment that you may work on over the weekend, 
but 
rarely is homework ever assigned on a Friday to be turned in on Monday. As you will soon learn, the 
amount of time you are given on an assignment depends on the type of homework assigned.

Do I always need an independent reading book in my backpack?

Yes, you always need to have a book to read. If you need book recommendations, please see me or

Yes, in Language Arts you will perform in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
