Dear Parents,
Here are some highlights in first grade since the week has ended quickly.
· We had a small Valentine party since we will be off next week. Thank you so much for making this fun and enjoyable for the children. They deserved it!
· The children are bringing home a packet. It will be intended for keeping skills up over the Winter break and is due when the children return to school. At the same time, I would like to remind you that reading with your child throughout the break will help to keep his or her skills sharp.
· Lately, we have had many projects in class and we have used all of our glue sticks. I would appreciate it if each child brings a pack of glue sticks as they come back to school on Tuesday, February 21st. Thank you for remembering us on your next shopping trip.
I hope everyone enjoy our change in routine and I look forward to our return on Tuesday, February, 21st.
