The 3rd graders don't need to bring a lunch on Friday, (February 10th).  The Chavez family will provide pizza for all the students for Valentine's Celebration.

 


Homework Club:   Takes place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:00p.m.
Mondays' ----> 5th grade classroom.
Tuesdays' ----> 3rd grade classroom
Thursdays' ----> 4th grade classroom. 

 




Multiplication  timed-tests: The students will be given 5 minutes to complete 100 problems with 100% accuracy. If a student doesn’t get 100% on the timed-test he/she will have to retake the test until it has been mastered. Please take time to review the timed-tests with your child. Students will take a timed-test every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Thirteen students have finished ALL the multiplication tests; they are moving on to division. Eight students are done with ALL the timed -tests :-)


Service Hours: Parents are welcome to help in the classroom. I ask that you give at least one day notice so that I can get tasks organized for you.  You can make copies for classroom use (30 copies =’s 30 minutes). And also, help at Bingo on Friday nights from 6:00-10:30p.m.

Box Tops:  We collect box tops for education, at the end of the month the class with the most box tops earns a free dress day.

Bingo: Every Friday night parents are expected to work at least four evenings in a school year. All are welcome to work or play! The hours are from 6:00-10:30p.m.
