February Reminders

Reminders:  


  Since we will be on Winter Break during Valentine's Day, we will be celebrating it early on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2PM.  If students choose to make Valentine cards, they need to make one for everyone in the class!  Thank you!


  We are currently collecting $5 from each student to help with the bake sale.  Proceeds will go to our field trip fund.  Thank you for your help!


  4th Grade is collecting empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans to recycle.  Money will go towards our field trip in March!  (Please make sure they come to school already rinsed!)  Thank you for helping us fundraise for our field trip!  


  Science fair information and boards went home Dec. 12, 2012.  Parents need to sign a sheet about student work (due Friday, Dec. 16 ).  The project proposal is due on Jan. 4, 2012.  The science board is due Friday, January 27, 2012.  


  Uniform policy reminders also went home before Christmas break.  Students will be issued "4th grade reminders" if they are not in appropriate uniform.  

  


On-Going Reminders:
  • Every Friday night is Bingo night. Come and play at 6:30 or volunteer!
  • Please remember to check our SIS grading system online for current student grades as well as notes about your child's conduct and effort.  (All reminders/"pink-slips" also get recorded here!)  Thank you as always for making this a team effort! 
  • 4th grade corrected papers go home on Friday.  Please look out for any work that may need to be finished or redone by the student, which must be turned back in as soon as possible!  Most work will have a percent grade (please refer to the grading scaled on the left), other work will be checked off indicating that it has been turned in and was completed. 

  • On the first day of the week, the 4th Grade "Choices Bulletin" goes home.  This is a letter indicating how many "reminders" your child needed from the previous week if any at all.  Please sign and return by the next day.  They will be returned to you again by the end of the week with a check mark that I have received it.  Thank you!

  • Also, please remember to save and turn in your "Box Tops for Education"
