About AR: Our 1st grade goal is 7.0 for the 3rd quarter. I have AR reading
coupons. Each time a student has read 5 books and passed their test he/she
will choose something from our treasure chest. He/she will be recognized at
the next assembly and will get a Choice Award. Your child will be able to
check out books from our classroom library. They make check out a book for 1
week unless I get a note from a parent letting me know you need more time.
Your child does not need to read the book you may read it to them. I will
help them read the questions at school. Go For Good Behavior Reports need to
be returned the following Monday signed by a parent.
Please make sure to bring back your child's report card envelope this
week. Monday the 100th day of school project is due! Wednesday is Choice
Award Free Dress. Thursday I will not need my Mom helpers due to the
Kindergarten's play. Friday is Fabulous Friday dress. Please make sure your
child wears their sweater for Mass. Friday is a 1/2 day 12:00 dismissal.
Saturday Feb. book order is due online. Please don't forget Monday Feb. 27th
their is no school it is a WASC day for teachers. I hope you all have a
teriffic week off with your families!
