This is my 17th year teaching third grade and my 23nd year as a faculty
member at Notre Dame School. I graduated from CSU,Chico with a BA degree in
Liberal Studies and a minor in Child Development. I was also an honors
English student while attending Chico State. I received my multiple-subject
teaching credential after completing the student teaching program at Chico
State, one semester of which was completed at Notre Dame School! Through the
years, I have served Notre Dame School in many ways including: School Board
member,Strategic Planning board member, Administrative Team member,
Accreditation Chairperson, Athletic Director, Student Council Advisor,
Accreditation visiting team member(4 times),and Testing Coordinator.
In my personal life, I have been blessed to be married to Ron Howard for 30
years, and we have two terrific sons, Matt(age 28) and Dan(age 25). Both of
my sons attended Notre Dame School! I am also blessed to have a wonderful
daughter-in-law, Katie. In my leisure time, I enjoy sailing and traveling
with my husband, reading, gardening, and spending time with my family and
friends.
We, teacher and students, strive to do our BEST each day in our schoolwork
and in our relationships with others, keeping God as the center of all.
