• Friday dismissal is at 1:50pm.
• Library books are due on Friday. Please have your child bring it with their homework.
• Welcome Henry to our class.
• PTO is Tuesday at 6:30pm in the Upper Meeting Room.
• I will be out on Tuesday as I have a meeting in Sacramento. Connie will sub for me.
• OUR FIRST Grade MASS is on Friday at 8:45am. Each student will have one part in presenting the Mass to the school. If you can come please sit on a side pew or behind the 5^thor 6^thgrade classes in the back of the Church.
• See back side for information on Valentines Day.
• Field Trip: The Redding Planetarium and Red Bluff Round Table field trip is now on February 15^th. I am in need of some more drivers. Permission Slips are coming home with homework today. The drivers I know of are: Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Digmon, Mrs. Ferguson, Mrs. Smasal, Mrs. Greenlee and Mrs. Backus.

Homework

v    Reading:Please Read for 10 minutes every night and record on the monthly reading log/ calendar!Due on March 2^nd!

v    Religion:Please practice your Mass part.

v    Math:Please complete the attached worksheets RW 66, PW 66, RW 67, PW 67, RW 68 and PW 68.

v    Language Arts:Please see the attached School- Home Connection Lesson 19 (Your child may use the back of the paper for the Everyday Writing Section.)

v    Spelling Words: me, see, feet, seat, mean, team, slow, road, our, over

ON Friday please return the Red Homework folder with the following:

·       Religion Worksheet

·       Math Worksheets

·       Everyday Writing (Write a Message)

Family Homework is a Heart. Please decorate as a family and bring in when you have finished it. All projects are due March 2nd. (They may be turned in early if you want.) Each student will present to the class their project with who helped them and what they used to decorate it. Please no food items as these go in their memory books that come home on the last day of school.

Valentines Day is on Tuesday, February 14^th. I would like all the students to buy or make Valentines for each other. (I know in Kindergarten you had to hand make them that is not the case in 1^stGrade.) I do require that your child write the to and from name on all the Valentines. So listed below is a class list and a list of adults at the school. They will hand deliver all their Valentines themselves at our Class Party on Valentines Day.
