The Scrimger Scholarship application Is available in the office for any 8th Grade Student who has earned straight A's in their 8th grade year. All applications are due on Friday; so if you are planning on applying pick one up today.

3XHonor Roll Day on the Green event will take place on Tuesday, May 28th. Permission slips went out yesterday.  If you plan on attending this ALL DAY event return your permission slips signed by parents tomorrow. We will have the list posted at the office Bulletin Board and the Astro Pup bulletin board. If you feel you should be on the list let us know ASAP.

The OPS PE department is sponsoring a drawing contest for next year’s PE uniform. The winner will receive a pizza party for 10. Pick up an application from the office or PE. The deadline is this Friday, May 24th at 3:00pm.

Reminder 6th and 7th Grade students: your course request forms were due last Friday.  Turn them in to the office immediately.

8th Graders: if you ordered a panoramic picture, please pick it up at the student window during your lunch or after school.

This Friday’s spirit day is Sunglass Day. The weather is warm and the sun is bright so break out your sunglasses this Friday.

All 8th Graders interested in running for President or Vice President of your freshman class next year at Freedom, come by the office and pick up an application packet.

The OPS PAWS pizza party is on Friday during your lunch.

8th Graders: there will be a professional photographer at the 8th Grade Dance to take your pictures. If you are attending and plan on purchasing the pictures, pick up an order form from the office. The forms along with payment must be submitted to the photographer when your photo is taken. Please inform your parents.

Attention 8th Graders:  the forms and final payment for the 8th Grade Activities need to be turned in to the office as soon as possible. At this time, payments must be CASH only; extra forms are available in the office.  Please remind your parents.

Yearbooks are on sale for $35, CASH only. Bring your money to the office to reserve your copy of the book. There is a limited supply. Get one while they last!

PTSA is sponsoring a drawing for a hat and a $45 gift card from Lumpy’s Diner. For a chance to win, all you have to do is take BoxTops to Mrs. Pennock in the Library. For every 10 BoxTops (trimmed and not expired) that you turn in, you will get 1 ticket for the drawing. The winner of the Lumpy’s Diner hat and $45 gift card will be announced on May 28th.

Today's menu at the Bulldog Cafe is:  Baja Fish Wrap or Grilled Cheese Sandwich on Wheat Bread, vegetables and a fruit.
